The FOOD Project.
December 14th is the next drive! Learn how to join us below.
What is the FOOD Project?
The Neighborhood Food Project is a grassroots initiative spreading across the U.S., bringing neighbors together in communities like Gig Harbor, Issaquah, and Thurston County. Now, Bremerton is joining this growing movement to fight hunger in a smarter, more efficient way.
Every month, Bremerton Foodline (BFL) will reach out with specific requests for the items we need most. This means that instead of guessing what’s needed, our FOOD Project partners can donate with confidence, knowing their contributions will directly meet the needs of local families. The result? Fully stocked shelves and less waste, ensuring our clients can always find what they need.
Now, imagine starting with just 10 neighborhoods. Then 20. And soon, 100! As this program grows, it has the power to consistently bring in thousands of pounds of targeted donations, transforming how we meet the demand for food and essential products across Kitsap County. Our ultimate goal is to foster a stronger sense of community while ensuring no one goes hungry. Together, we can build a network that truly nourishes both people and connections.
